Tim is an LPL Financial Advisor, dedicated to his clients’ overall financial needs and concerns, from wealth accumulation to retirement distribution and estate planning. He is experienced in retirement planning with an emphasis on the critical retirement transition phase. He has led both financial workshops in Red Wing and western Wisconsin as well as worksite seminars for several companies in the Twin Cities metro area.

Tim graduated from Mankato State University cum laude with a triple major in management, marketing, and industrial relations, and a minor in economics. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 securities registrations held with LPL and his life and health insurance licenses.

Tim and his wife, Sue, have four children and six grandchildren and live in Red Wing. He enjoys giving back to the community that he and his family have enjoyed for so long. Tim served the greater Red Wing community in the role of Minnesota State Representative from 2008-2016.

He also accepted an invitation to serve on the Jones Family Foundation Board, and is excited to work with an organization that has provided so much for the Red Wing community. Previously, Tim has served on several boards, including the Red Wing School Board, Kiwanis and local church and youth sports associations, and has coached several youth football, basketball and baseball teams.
